The original, suspension bridge crossing of US Highways 62 & 68 allows a view looking west
toward the station, where Amtrak train 50 has departed in July 2002 passing the town floodwall.
A facing point, hand-throw switch with TTI is ahead of the train on track 2 at L&N Junction.
With Springdale
interlocking in the
distance, a TTI job is on track 1 beside TTI's rail-to-barge transload facility
in July 2002. A
primary customer
is Dayton Power &
Light Stuart Station
across the river
in Ohio. TTI also delivers by rail
to Spurlock at BH.
